Kuching Laksa At Kah Hiong Ngiu Chap

I have been to Kah Hiong Ngiu Chap in the row of shophouse next to New World Mart in Lutong twice this week as I like the Kuching laksa there. The soup is reasonably thick and tasty. The portion is a bit smaller than the Kuching laksa at 28 Cafe opposite Imperial Mall but at RM6.80, it is 20 cents cheaper than 28 Cafe’s laksa. And as usual in Miri, the prawns are quite small.

Their cucumber somboi juice is quite popular but I did not try it as I just don’t fancy cucumber juice.

I seldom finish all the laksa soup whenever I eat laksa but at Kah Hiong Ngiu Chap, I finished all the soup on the two occasions that I was there. That speaks volume about how I feel about the laksa there!
