Care For Chinese Dumplings?

If you are fed up with the usual kampua or kolomee or fried kuey tiao and looking for something different for a change, head to Chong & Law Restaurant located at 305, Jalan Merbau, directly across the road from Siamese Secrets.

Inside this restaurant, there is this stall operated by a few ladies from China. No, I am not talking about reflexology stores. This stall, named Ding Ding Dumplings (direct translation from its Chinese name), sells a few type of noodles, bread and of course dumplings.

I was there yesterday morning with my son and we ordered a set of the boiled dumplings and a set of the pan fried dumplings. The boiled dumplings are stuffed with chopped cabbage and shredded pork while the pan fried ones come with shredded pork and leek.

We liked the dumplings though they are not the best dumplings we had tasted. They are tasty and great for a change from the usual breakfast fare.

So head your way to Ding Ding! Oops! I just found out the meaning of ding ding online. The Urban Dictionary has two definitions for ding ding: (1) the penis (2) a very pleasurable hand job. Hmmm…maybe Ding Ding is a suitable name for a reflexology business.
